Last updated: October 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how TAIFA collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit www.taifa.net, contact us, or do business with us. It is written for business customers, distributors, suppliers and website visitors.
1. Who we are

Qingdao Taifa Group Co., Ltd.
No. 1218/1219, Chaoyangshan Road, Qingdao West Coast New Area, Qingdao, Shandong 266431, China
Email: [email protected]
Under the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we are the “controller” of your personal information. Under China’s Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL), we are the “personal information handler”.
2. What this policy covers
This policy applies to personal information we handle through:
- our website www.taifa.net and its contact and quotation forms;
- emails, phone calls, WhatsApp, WeChat and other messages you exchange with us;
- trade shows, B2B platforms and other business contact with you or your company;
- orders, OEM/ODM projects, shipping and after-sales service.
We sell to businesses. Most of the information we hold is business contact information, such as your name, job title, company and work email.
3. Information we collect
3.1 Information you give us
- Contact and inquiry forms: name, company, email address, subject and message. [If the “Get Started” or quote form asks for more, such as phone, country, product or quantity, list those fields here.]
- Emails, calls and messaging apps: your contact details and anything you choose to send, such as specifications, drawings, logos and target prices.
- Orders and projects: contact persons, delivery and billing details, shipping documents and payment records.
- Trade shows and meetings: details on business cards and from factory visits or meetings.
3.2 Information collected automatically
When you use our website, we and our analytics provider collect technical information: IP address, approximate location based on it, browser and device type, pages viewed, time on page, the website that referred you, and the date and time of your visit. Section 6 explains the cookies involved.
3.3 Information from other sources
We may obtain business contact information from:
- B2B marketplaces and directories where you contacted us or listed your company;
- authorized distributors, agents and business referrals;
- trade shows and industry events;
- public business sources, such as company websites, professional networking sites and business registries;
- import and trade records and B2B contact-data providers, which help us find companies that buy products like ours.
From these sources we collect name, job title, company, work email, work phone, and the company’s country and product lines.
3.4 Information we do not ask for
We do not need sensitive personal information, such as health data or government ID numbers. Please do not send it. If a customs or legal process requires it, we will ask you first.
4. How we use information and our legal bases
Purpose | Examples | Legal basis (EU/UK GDPR) |
|---|---|---|
Answer inquiries and prepare quotes | Replying to forms and emails, sending catalogs, arranging samples | Steps you ask for before a contract; our legitimate interest in answering business inquiries |
Perform orders and OEM/ODM projects | Production updates, quality inspection, shipping, invoicing, after-sales service | Performance of a contract; legal obligation |
Manage distributor, supplier and partner relationships | Contracts, meetings, account management | Contract; legitimate interests |
Business-to-business marketing | Product news, catalogs, introductory emails to business contacts | Legitimate interest in promoting our products to businesses; consent where local law requires it |
Run, improve and secure the website | Analytics, troubleshooting, blocking spam and fraud | Consent for analytics cookies where required; legitimate interests for security |
Meet legal duties and protect our rights | Accounting, tax, customs, export rules, disputes | Legal obligation; legitimate interests |
Under PIPL, we process personal information where it is necessary to conclude or perform a contract with you, to meet legal duties, or where you or your company have made the information public and our use stays within a reasonable scope. We ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have weighed them against your rights, and you can object at any time (section 11).
We do not sell personal information. We do not make automated decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects.
5. Business marketing and how to opt out
We send product and company information to business contacts who have contacted us, bought from us, or whose role suggests our products are relevant to their company. Where the law of your country requires prior consent for business marketing emails, we only send them with your consent.
Every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe. You can also reply “unsubscribe” or write to [email protected]. We act on opt-outs within 10 business days and keep your email address on a do-not-contact list so we do not contact you again.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. Our website uses the following:

Where consent is required, a banner on your first visit lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time through the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser, although the site may not work fully without strictly necessary cookies. Where the law requires it, we honor browser privacy signals such as Global Privacy Control.
Google explains how it uses data from websites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
7. Who we share information with
We share personal information only as needed for the purposes in section 4:
- TAIFA group companies and staff who need it to handle your inquiry, order or project, such as sales, engineering, production, quality, logistics and finance.
- Service providers working for us, under contracts that limit how they use the information: website hosting and security (including Cloudflare), email and office software, analytics (Google), [CRM provider], and our website and digital marketing agency.
- Logistics and payment partners needed to complete your order: freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, inspection agencies and banks.
- Messaging platforms: if you contact us on WhatsApp or WeChat, those platforms (Meta and Tencent) process your messages under their own privacy policies.
- Distributors and agents: if an authorized TAIFA distributor in your country can serve you better, we will ask you before passing on your details.
- Authorities and advisers: courts, regulators, customs or tax authorities when the law requires it, and our lawyers, auditors and insurers.
- Business transfers: a buyer or successor if we merge, restructure or sell part of our business, who must protect your information as this policy describes.
8. International transfers
TAIFA is based in China, so information you send us is stored and processed in China. Our service providers may process it in other countries, such as [country where the website is hosted]. Data protection laws there may differ from the laws where you live.
Where we use service providers outside your country, we rely on their contractual data protection commitments, including the EU Standard Contractual Clauses where they apply. When we transfer personal information out of China, we follow the cross-border rules of PIPL. You can ask us about these safeguards using the contact details in section 15.
9. How long we keep information

When we no longer need information, we delete it or make it anonymous.
10. How we protect information
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) on our website, access limited to staff who need the information for their work, and established providers for hosting, email and storage.
No system is completely secure. If a security incident is likely to put you at risk, we will inform you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.
11. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you and receive a copy;
- correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;

- complain to a data protection authority, such as the one where you live or work.
To use any of these rights, email [email protected]. We may ask you to confirm your identity first. We will reply within one month, or sooner if your local law requires. If a request is complex, we may extend this where the law allows and will tell you why. Requests are free unless they are clearly unfounded or excessive. Where your local law allows, an authorized agent may make a request for you.
12. Children
Our website and services are for businesses. They are not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Other websites and platforms
Our website links to other websites and to our pages on Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and X. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which we do not control. Please read them before sharing information there.
